North West Stakeholder Forum

The North West Stakeholder Forum focussed on the implications for healthcare education following the recent announcements on the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR). As part of the settlement, HEE will no longer be responsible for commissioning non-medical education after this year’s commissioning round.

The Forum saw representatives from stakeholder organisations across the North West meet to discuss the impacts of  CSR and identify opportunities, risks and mitigations for key stakeholders within the new landscape.  It provided the opportunity to identify priorities to assist in transitioning to a new model of workforce delivery and the key elements of an effective engagement strategy.
