Evidence Champions

Supporting innovation and improvement by transforming the way in which evidence is applied in the commissioning of health and care services. A collaborative initiative between Innovation Agency (Academic Health Science Network for the North West Coast) and CETAD, Lancaster University. The postgraduate programme is a unique, enhanced, evidence based approach to health and care services commissioning that aims to support a culture of innovation, improvement and transformation. The programme has recently been completed by a group of clinical and senior managers responsible for commissioning services on behalf of Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and local authorities within the North West Coast (Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire & South Cumbria).
